  Take a look around - all around. 
  Make a complete 360 degree pivot. 
  Take a look to the North; to the South, swing over to the East & then to the 
  West. 
  Check out the Far East and remember the Wild, Wild West. 
  Turn on the TV. Turn on all of your TV Sets. Swing thru all 190 Channels by 
  way of your remote control. 
  No household should be without a few of those. 
  What’s being reported? 
  What’s being distorted? 
  Listen to the broadcasts on the Radio morning, noon and night. 
  Look at the Front Page News, be it a monthly, weekly or daily magazine or 
  newspaper. 
  Open up your front and back windows & hear the sirens wail on by. 
  Live in a war-torn country & be BOMB-arded every minute of the day.
  This is Life in the 21st Century. In a mere 134 words and 12 miniscule lines.
  Things are happening that needn’t. That need not EVER occur. Wars, Hunger, 
  Famine, Hate, Greed, Isolation, Alienation, Maliciousness…just to name a few. 
  And We think We have evolved and have come a “long, long way, Baby.” I wonder 
  at times  all the time - when it comes to this despairing Topic. History 
  continues to repeat itself, moment in and moment out. Day in & Day out. Around 
  the Clock. Throughout the Calendar. Within each Century that we pass through. 
  No one seems to learn the Lessons from Past History. No one seems to really 
  care. The Guise we live under is indeed a disguise.
  Disillusionment reigns supreme. When does "Making a Difference" really begin to 
  do just that!
  It’s too bad. It has been too bad for thousands of years now. Consider: All 
  the People who have died “in vein.” Consider: All the wars that have been 
  fought that have destroyed so much. Consider: All the People that have been 
  betrayed and led astray. All in all, it’s the greatest Travesty that Mankind 
  has ever done to AND on-to Mankind. Promises have been broken; Dreams have 
  been squelched; innocent People have suffered and died in vein and in endless 
  pain.
  Yet this constant Insanity all continues with just bigger, crueler & more 
  ruthless “toys,” even as I sit and peck away at the keyboard of my PC here at 
  8:04 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2000.
  My Conclusion and Solution?
  In conclusion, I think MANKIND needs a Lobotomy. And the first thing that 
  should be “chopped” off is the “Kind” in ManKind.
